Trick or treat, scary or sweet, it all had a place during an amusing afternoon with residents and team members at Delmanor Northtown.
October 31st is the day each year that is widely believed to have originated from ancient Celtic harvest festivals. Celebrations usually consist of activities such as trick-or-treating, costume parties, carving pumpkins into jack-o’-lanterns, lighting bonfires, apple bobbing & telling scary stories. Residents and team members of Delmanor Northtown look forward to Hallowe’en celebrations each year that include decorating, live music and dressing up in creative costumes, to name a few of the festive activities.
The Delmanor residents were treated to Hallowe’en refreshments while participating in a pumpkin carving contest that challenged skills and creativity. The highlight of the day was the always popular costume contest in which prizes were awarded for the most original, creative & accomplished costumes.
Everyone had a fantastic time celebrating this fun Hallowe’en tradition!
