What a Delmanor Dining Experience!
Surprise! The residents of Delmanor Elgin Mills had the pleasure of enjoying a tantalizing dinner prepared in their Delmanor kitchen by Rick Secko, Customer Development Chef of Nestle Professional Canada and Delmanor Elgin Mills’ very own Executive Chef, Keith Sullivan and Sous Chef, David Pryce.
Menu offerings for the evening included a garden fresh Bocconcini & Cherry Tomato Salad, Roasted Lemon & Herb Crusted Chicken Breast served with a Six Cheese Ravioli in a Tomato & Basil Ratatouille, or Broiled Arctic Char served with Shrimp Scampi Ravioli in a mouthwatering garlic cream sauce, with fresh asparagus spears to top the dish off. To end those perfect pairings that evening, a luscious salted caramel bar served with French vanilla ice cream.
During the dinner service, Chef Rick came into the dining room and described his meal to an admiring crowd of diners and answered any questions they may have had. A first rate experience!
Chef Rick has a wealth of experience as a professional Red Seal Certified Chef and has worked alongside seasoned Executive Chefs throughout his 30 year career. His talent and creativity in our Delmanor kitchen was truly appreciated, and thoroughly enjoyed by our residents!
