Delmanor Elgin Mills residents, along with neighbours in their local community, were thrilled to embrace the opportunity to experience a two hour session of canvas painting accompanied by a glass of wine.
The session was led by Michelle Richards-Clermont, who is one of the talented artists from the The Richmond Hill Group Of Artists that opened the Mill Pond Gallery located directly across from the historic Mill Pond Park in Richmond Hill.
The theme was “trees” that were delicately created using soft pastel paints with gentle strokes, applied on canvas.
One of the participants truly captured the experience when he said “The beauty of art is the element of surprise on completion, there is never a right or wrong, it is all about self-expression.” A wonderful and relaxing afternoon was had by all participants. Some were improving their talents and others were discovering new ones.
