Honoring York Region’s Retired Teachers at Delmanor Elgin Mills

Honoring York Region’s Retired Teachers at Delmanor Elgin Mills

Teachers often have a profound impact on our lives and who we become as adults. It is very important to never forget these positive influences and to make time to honor these individuals who leave a lasting impression on their students.

There was a very special connection at Delmanor Elgin Mills as two of Delmanor’s very own residents were themselves retired York Region teachers! So when planning the annual luncheon, that is held the day after labour day each year to coincide with the first day back to school, Delmanor Elgin Mills was asked to host this event!

Delmanor’s two resident retired teachers suggested the beautiful newly renovated private dining room The Birches as an excellent venue to host their group.

Delmanor Elgin Mills was thrilled to host York Region’s Retired Teachers group and were very pleased to allow the residents that are proud members of this association an opportunity to host in their home and share their lovely surroundings with friends.
