Sheldon is a passionate and collaborative leader who continuously finds ways of improving the quality of services offered to our residents. He excels in bringing out the best in others. Sheldon ensures that our team lives the Core Values and that Residents enjoy The Delmanor Experience every day. Prior to joining Delmanor in 2005, Sheldon held senior management positions in the retirement living industry and in well-respected hotels and restaurants.
Chief Financial Officer
Mark is responsible for the financial leadership of the company, including obtaining financing for existing and new projects, risk management, evaluating new development opportunities and liaising with our partners and investors. Mark and his team also provide accounting and financial reporting support to our communities. Prior to joining Delmanor in 2006, Mark served as Director of Corporate Projects for our parent company, Tridel. He also served as Director of Finance for infrastructure and manufacturing companies.
Vice President, Marketing and Operations
Elaine is a versatile and creative team player who leads by example, manages through consensus and builds strong teams. She is keenly interested in maintaining high operational standards for service delivery; resulting in exceptional resident and employee satisfaction. Elaine joined Delmanor in 2009 and has been instrumental in expanding our brand presence, along with establishing key operational best practices. Prior to joining Delmanor, Elaine was a Regional Director and General Manager.
Director, People & Culture
Robyn has a passion for developing people, she is an employee-focused human resources professional who drives a culture of excellence organization-wide through training and development, colleague engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives. She rolled out a customized company-wide Service Excellence program that has become an integral part of the company’s culture. Robyn joined Delmanor in 2004, as General Manager of Delmanor Elgin Mills and led the opening team of Delmanor Northtown in 2009.
Director, Building Services
Bill is responsible for building services and procurement, health and safety and he also oversees large renovation projects. Prior to joining Delmanor in 2011, Bill managed industrial, commercial and multi-residential properties. He has a strong background in operational maintenance to ensure maximum efficiencies are achieved.
Manu leads the Delmanor accounting and finance team and provides accounting, financial reporting and administrative support to our communities. Prior to joining Delmanor in 2017, Manu worked for another Canadian senior housing operator and was responsible for overseeing the operational finance team. Manu is passionate about working in the senior living industry and holds a CPA, CGA designation.
Corporate Manager, Marketing and Sales
Michelle is thrilled to have joined the Delmanor Team in 2017. She brings a wealth of experience in the Senior Living industry, having worked in Retirement Living as a Director of Sales and Marketing. Michelle brings passion and enthusiasm to her role and strives to bring out the best in team members along with her love of working with older adults.
Corporate Manager, Community Outreach
Kelly is passionate about working with older adults and building strong community partnerships throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Kelly joined Delmanor in 2005 and successfully leased up two of our Delmanor Communities. Kelly’s has a deep knowledge of the retirement industry. Her hard work and genuine approach to building partner relationships, has lead to Delmanor’s enviable reputation in the community. She is a well-respected ambassador for Delmanor.
Corporate Manager, LivingWell Services
Through her passion, knowledge and enthusiasm, Whitney continues to expand the quality of Delmanor’s LivingWell services, by researching and developing innovative programs and putting a focus on fitness and healthy lifestyle options for Residents. Whitney joined Delmanor Elgin Mills in 2009 as LivingWell Manager and was instrumental in expanding programs and services for a diverse group of residents. Whitney is a certified senior fitness instructor with the Canadian Centre for Activity and Aging
Corporate Manager, Culinary Services
Chef Divakar, also known as “Chef D” brings his years of experience as an international Chef. Chef D joined Delmanor in 2010. He was the Culinary Services Manager at Delmanor Northtown and was promoted to Corporate Manager of Culinary Services in 2015. Chef D’s philosophy is that fine dining and healthy food choices are not only a possibility but a reality, where the emphasis is always on fresh, healthy and varied menu options.
BRENDA MARTIN, RN
Corporate Manager, Health and Wellness
Brenda’s role is to ensure Delmanor is in compliance with RHA nursing and infection control regulations, along with the Ontario College of Nursing standards. Brenda joined Delmanor in 2009 as the Health and Wellness Manager at Delmanor Wynford. In 2015 Brenda became the Corporate Health and Wellness Manager, while continuing her responsibilities at Wynford. Brenda is passionate about delivering exceptional care to our Residents.
