Canvas Art Painting

Please join Michelle Richards-Clermont who is an Award winning professional artist who is passionate about teaching art. She has been immersed in the arts all her life and has a successful fine arts business, a career in graphic design and teaches fine art. Michelle fills her time with painting, drawing and sharing her expertise with her students. Enjoy a glass of wine and refreshments as you paint on your individual canvas.

Fit as a Fiddle

“Fit As A Fiddle, the dynamic husband and wife duo from Toronto features Aidan Mason on guitar and vocals with Margot Glatt on percussion and vocals. They will be singing your favourite popular songs in a way you’ve never heard before. You won’t be able to resist the temptation to join in and sing along with their upbeat, energetic and feel good show” We are also having an ice cream truck to kick off this wonderful show.

Flagman Presentation “Royal Weddings”
Thursday, August 8th 2:30 – 3:30 pm

Please join Bill Anderson as he examines the significant events in the history of the British Royal Family. It looks at the flags that associated with either weddings, coronations, funerals, executions, birth or tours of British royalty from the Middle Ages to the present day.  Followed by traditional royal desserts and tea.

Corn Boil and Country Music Hoedown
Wednesday, August 21st 3:00 – 4:00 pm

As history has it the corn roast was part of the chores at the end of the harvest season to ensure that the corn wasn’t wasted.  Delmanor Elgin Mills would like to invite you to enjoy our very own Country Hoedown followed by delicious corn on the cob.

Come and join us for a lite lunch followed by an afternoon of Bridge in Delmanor Elgin Mills newly renovated LivingWell™ Centre.

Sleeping Better Presentation
Wednesday, September 18th 3:00 – 4:00 pm

Valerie a specialists in sleeping patterns who lead a workshop on why it is often difficult for many older adults find it difficult to get enough sleep. There will be discussion around lifestyle, changes that could possibly be made which could be found helpful. Refreshments along with a Q&A afterwards.

The Sound Of Music
Monday, September 23rd 2:30 – 3:30 pm

Relive the story of Maria and the Von Trapp family as Fran Townend and Kevin Dashney playing all the character, with costumes, music and laughter enjoy and sing along with Maria, Captain Von Trapp, the Nuns Rolf, Leisl and Gretel singing Climb Every Mountain, My Favourite Things, Edelweiss, I am Sixteen, Do-Re-Mi and many more. Refreshments to follow.
