What’s the Deal with Vitamin D

Sue Merritt one of our LivingWell Coaches will be doing a presentation on Vitamin D.  Learn how Vitamin D impacts every aspect of your health. Having enough is probably the single easiest thing you can do to be healthier but the big question is how much Vitamin D is enough?

Come and experience the Cuisine of our Culinary Team which will be served in our newly renovated LivingWell Centre; followed by a delightful afternoon of Bridge and conversation with new people who share the same passion for the game of Bridge.


Beat The Winter Blues

February is the perfect month to start thinking about; wouldn’t it be nice to be sipping a tropical refreshment somewhere warm; well with the help of the Keith Kindyal Steel Band you will experience musical styles from the Caribbean such as calypso and reggae set in our newly renovated Fireside Lounge along with food and beverages just as if you were actually lounging around the pool or sitting on the sandy beach.

Let’s Talk About Driving
Wednesday March 6th, 3:00pm-4:00pm

Faryar Foroodi-Managing Director at Home Instead Senior Care will be coming to Delmanor to do a presentation to help family members identify the potential signs that your loved one might be an unsafe driver on the road.  To understand some common conditions of aging symptoms that can impact driving and to discuss tips on how to help family members reduce the potential for isolation and adjusting after a loved one stops driving.  There will be time allotted after the presentation for group questions and thoughts.

Gandini Juggling’s Sigma
Thursday March 14th, 2:00pm-4:00pm

Come and join us at Richmond Hill Performing Arts as Gandini Juggling pushes the boundaries of their art form by combining contemporary a circus with dance and narrative. Their show Sigma showcases dance, juggling and percussion that will stimulate your imagination. This mesmerizing show premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festive in August 2017 where it was received in awe and cited as “a truly artful mash-up of distinct skills” by The Times.


Circles Adult Education Presents Aretha Franklin, Queen of the Soul  (Presented by Daniel Aonso)
Wednesday March 27th, 3:00pm-4:00pm

The 10 year old gospel-singer from Detroit who became one of the best-selling musical artists of all time with career spanning over 60 years, 18 Grammy awards and hits like “Respect”, “A Natural Woman” and “I Knew You Were Waiting”.  The fiery voice of an artist, a civil rights activist and humanitarian icon who “helped define the American experience” (Barack Obama)

Join us for an educational seminar with Arlene Stephenson-Downsizing Diva who specializes in making the transition from home to retirement communities seamless.  Arlene will talk about how simple changes make a big impact in your home.  Declutter and downsize with inexpensive and creative organizational tips.
