Crime and Fraud Prevention Seminar
Tuesday February 19th at 2:30 pm

Don’t fall victim to the newest scams. There are people that will try to take advantage of others and these criminals are getting more aggressive and creative in their fraudulent ways.  We will have an informative lecture about the latest tactics by phone, email, and door to door visits.  Constable Sue Stam, a Toronto Police Services Crime Prevention Officer from 32 Division, will be here to educate us on what to do and what not to do!

March Events

St. Patrick’s Day with The Blazing Fiddles
Friday March 15th at 2:30 pm

In 1999 an advertisement was placed in a Hamilton newspaper searching for local musicians, by the founders of Grand River Dinner Cruises who were putting together a new music show. This was the start of a line-up of talented performers coming together, which have since performed for hundreds of thousands of people all over the world.  Wear something green, remember St. Patrick, celebrate Irish Culture, and enjoy the shamrocks and live music!

Royal Ontario Museum – World of Birds Presentation
Tuesday March 26th at 2:30 pm

There is an incredible diversity of birds found in our world.  The ROM will visit Delmanor to share facts about their comprehensive bird collection. This presentation will entertain those that consider themselves avid birdwatchers and those that get joy from our feathered friends. Discover interesting specifics about mighty sea birds, the albatross – with its nine foot wing span, tropical birds, the flightless ratites, tiny songbirds, and birds we find in our own yards and on our terraces.

As space is limited please RSVP to Laurie or Keri at 416-225-9146.

Tours are offered on the day of the event!
