Delmanor Wynford residents embraced our Canadian winter weather with a unique event that included activities that are nostalgic for many residents, but new for others.
Although many Canadians prefer the warm summer months, we can not overlook all that our Canadian winters have to offer. Winter sports activities and rituals we undertake each year are part of what makes our extreme season changes so unique and enjoyable.
The Delmanor residents were treated to a fantastic afternoon watching an ice sculpture be created before their eyes. Although it was raining, some of the brave residents ventured outside to experience the weather first hand, while others enjoyed the view from indoors. Everyone was treated to hot chocolate with home-made marshmallows along with the Canadian classic of freshly made maple toffee poured onto ice for a delicious treat!
The residents of Delmanor Wynford love to experience all of the seasons and traditions that our magnificent country provides us with. Celebrating holidays and events with friends and neighbors makes each season at Delmanor even more of an experience for all!
