So Much Kindness and Caring

So Much Kindness and Caring

“So Much Kindness and Caring”

Dear Mr. Gould

Thank you for the opportunity to contribute to Inspired Connections. I visited Delmanor last fall and enjoyed visiting with some residents. I was impressed by the building and amenities, but most of all by the good feeling in the home. I wish I could return now but perhaps soon. I hope your staff and residents are all well. My thanks to you and the wonderful Delmanor staff for their continued caring in challenging times.

Stay well.

Leah T.

So much kindness and caring have been shown during the pandemic and I’ve tried to do my small part. In these pictures, I was baking cookies and making thank you notes with my daughter for frontline workers at a nearby longterm care home.

During Covid, I’ve been reminded that we are dependent on each other and that a little kindness goes a long way. Its also been clear that it really is better to give than receive. Caregivers, medical staff, and other frontline workers have shown this to us all and I’m very grateful to them. For me, in giving, I’ve made memories with my family and become more connected to my community.

This is a quote that inspires me. I hope it does the same for you.

“Wherever there is a human being, there is an opportunity for kindness.”
