MemoryPlus

No one is defined solely by their dementia. At Delmanor, we recognize that your loved one is a person with a long and vibrant history and their journey with dementia is just the next chapter in that life story. We strive to make their days pleasant, safe and full of moments of contentment and joy that you may fear were gone forever. It’s all about learning who that person was in the past but also what gives them comfort and happiness today. It’s what we call MemoryPlus™. To learn more about MemoryPlus™, watch our video.

Stress Man Presentation
Wednesday August 18th at 3:00 pm

If you are feeling more stress or new forms of stress in our “new normal” day-to-day life, you are not alone. Stats Canada reports one in five Canadians have shown symptoms of anxiety, stress or post traumatic stress disorder. We are seeing an increase in signs of stress across all age groups. While Public Health actions encourage social distancing to reduce the spread of Covid, staying more isolated can make us feel lonely and generate anxiety. As things open up this can create new stressors. Take this hour to examine your life and learn ways to help cope with or master stress-in a healthy way with Sue Merritt one of our LivingWell…  Coaches.  We have been all of this together from the start and let’s all move forward together.
