An Evening with the Choir

Join us for an enjoyable evening of singing. This is a performance by members of the Choralaires. They are a community-based, 4-part harmony, the adult choir that was established in 1963. They will entertain you and brighten your mood with a wonderful repertoire of popular songs covering Broadway tunes, Jazz and Folk songs, and Show tunes.

Bomb Girls Presentation 

Barbara Dickson is a sought-after motivational speaker, local historian, and author of fiction and periodical pieces. She will share an account of the women working in dangerous and high-security conditions making bombs during the Second World War. This presentation delivers a dramatic and personal review of Canada’s largest fuse-filling munitions factory situated in Toronto. Take a look into the working conditions, war propaganda, and the lives of over 21,000 brave people handling explosives in a dedicated effort to help win the war.

Kid Crooner – Noah Kosta                                                                                                                           

Noah Kosta is Toronto’s very own Kid Crooner. At 18 years of age, he is already turning heads. Noah doesn’t sing the same songs as most kids his age, but instead is covering many artists like Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. Come to this show and hear a new twist to some of your favorite songs with Noah’s wonderful renditions. He is a talented young man that you will want to keep an eye on!
